the photographic exhibition The Emiliano Romagnolo Channel in the gaze of Enrico Pasquali dedicated to one of the masters of Italian neorealism.
The promise to give the visitor unique and original suggestions of our territory is largely maintained in the collage of emotions in black and white that the CER Consortium has conceived and organized with the collaboration of numerous partners to enhance not only one of the most important hydraulic works of the country , but to celebrate the activity of the hardworking man.
The photographic exhibition, curated by Sonia Lenzi, delivers to our present the relevance of the Channel for the agri-food economies of part of Emilia and much of Romagna. At the same time it makes us jump backwards, in a composite universe made of essential, raw, real, almost documentary, represented by the master of neorealism of Castel Guelfo, born in that slice of land washed by the Sillaro often referred to as border watershed between Emilia and Romagna, which began the “profession of photographer in Medicine.
The exhibition will show a significant selection of Enrico Pasquali’s works from the 50s-60s and a video with a rich series of oral testimonies and interviews with workers, technicians, designers and executives, protagonists of the start-up of the works of the Emiliano Romagnolo Canal , made in 2014 by Sonia Lenzi, directed by Enza Negroni.
