The tourism boom in Bologna really does not seem to know the end.
The data released yesterday by the Region, in fact, speak for themselves: more than 12% of presences in the first seven months of the year, amounting to over 1 million and 890 thousand sleeping nights. And that’s not all: because the rest of the province also travels on similar percentages, and more generally the whole of Emilia Romagna stands at an excellent + 4.3% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Under the Two Towers from January to July this year, there are a good 873 thousand arrivals (+ 7.3%), and the increase has affected both Italians (+ 13% of presences) and foreigners (+ 11%).
A similar mutation seems to concern the rest of the province, visited in the first seven months of the year by over 1 million and 358 thousand tourists, for a total of almost 3 million nights sleep.
The invasion of 2018, however, involved a bit ‘all of Emilia Romagna. The regional tourism industry closes the first seven months of the year, exceeding 30 million admissions and reaching 7.8 million tourist arrivals (+ 5.9%).
Even the Riviera is saved, despite a not very favorable weather: according to the elaborations of Trademark Italia, the presences on the seashore in the May-August period have increased by 1.5%.
