The exhibition, The World of Wonders, is divided into two distinct but coordinated sections, the monuments of the universal history of J.B. Fischer von Erlach, curated by Marco Folin and Monica Preti, staged in Archiginnasio and Antonio Basoli and J.B. Fischer von Erlach, which can be visited at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna until January 19th and curated by Marco Folin, Eleonora Frattarolo and Monica Preti.
The exhibition revolves around the exemplar possessed by the Archiginnasio Library of a famous work: the Essay of a Historical Architecture (Entwurff einer historischen Architectur, 1725) by the Austrian architect Johann Fischer von Erlach (1656-1723), one of the greatest exponents of the Viennese baroque.
At 4.30 pm it will be inaugurated, with a visit by the curators Marco Folin and Monica Preti, The world of wonders. The monuments of the universal history of J.B. Fischer von Erlach, set up in Archiginnasio.
At 6 pm, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, the section The world of wonders will be inaugurated. Antonio Basoli and J.B. Fischer von Erlach with a guided tour of the curators Marco Folin, Eleonora Frattarolo and Monica Preti.
