Mario Ramous (Milan, 18 May 1924 – Bologna, 8 July 1999) was a poet, Latinist, Italianist, art critic and publishing director.
His cultural activities are being shown to the public for the first time in the exhibition ‘La memoria del futuro. Mario Ramous an intellectual in Bologna, from the post-war period to the 1990s’, which will be held at Collezioni Comunali d’Arte until 4 September.
The exhibition will display a number of works of art from Ramous’ private collection, including a drawing by Giorgio Morandi from 1915.
The exhibition will also feature manuscripts of poems and translations, visual poems, unpublished advertising drawings, musical scores, critical articles and rare volumes from the 1960s and 1970s.
