On Saturday 18 May, the museums of the Municipality and Metropolitan City of Bologna will participate in the European Museum Night and the International Museum Day with a programme of special initiatives and extraordinary evening openings at the symbolic price of 1 euro.
On this occasion, a varied programme of activities will be proposed to offer citizens and tourists unusual and entertaining experiences.
The Civic Museums of Bologna will be open extraordinarily from 10:00 to 24:00, with an entrance fee of 1 euro from 20:00 to 24:00.
Initiated in 2005 by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication and extended to the entire European Union since 2011, under the patronage of UNESCO, the Council of Europe and ICOM, this initiative aims to promote knowledge of national and European cultural heritage.
These events are part of the Bologna Portici Festival 2024, a project promoted and coordinated by the Culture and Creativity Sector of the Municipality of Bologna.
