The exhibition “Art with a gaze to the upside” is visible from June 25 to July 12, 2019 at the Baraccano complex, in the Elisabetta Possati museum hall.
Whenever we have visited a church, a basilica or a historic building our eyes have always lingered, as if they were “kidnapped”, to admire the marvelous works that adorn the walls as frescoes and mosaics but also vaults, domes and ceilings that they contain secrets of incomparable value; that have made Italy the world capital of art.
Many times, however, some small details escape our gaze, which is why Voltecupolesoffitti.it proposes an initiative to make the history, art and architecture of places of great interest known to the public.
Every day from 09.00 to 13.00 for guided tours and free workshops for groups of children with reservations and from 15.00 to 19.00 with free admission.
Via Santo Stefano 119, Bologna.
