It is called MODERN BOLOGNA: ARCHITECTURE AND CHURCHES IN THE BOLOGNA OF THE SECOND NOVECENTO and the title of the conference in which we intend to retrace some stages of the human, spiritual and professional history of the Bolognese architect to arrive at a reading of his work in relation to the events of historical period of the late twentieth century.
On November 15th at the Fondazione Lercaro in via Riva Reno 57 the Study Center for Sacred Architecture together with the Order of Architects of Bologna proposes a day of study on the work of Glauco Gresleri.
The brilliant and passionate personality of Glauco Gresleri has characterized his project work starting from the hard work of the New Churches Office of the Diocese of Bologna wanted by the Cardinal Giacomo Lercaro in which he has generated that particular attention to the architecture of the churches characterized his design work.
During the day, colleagues and friends who shared with him moments of his professional history will highlight the characteristics of his design action, delivering an ‘architectural’ portrait of his engaging temperament.
The conference will start at 9:30 am and end at 6 pm (with one hour of lunch break) and admission is free.
