The exhibition Sharks and Abysses, Perfect Predators in an Alien Land dedicated to the underwater world and its inhabitants continues until 30 June 2024 at Palazzo Pallavicini. The exhibition allows visitors to closely observe and touch the reconstruction of more than 60 species of marine animals to understand their history and evolution.
An underwater journey where you can encounter incredible gelatinous forms and discover more than 30 specimens of sharks, and learn about the incredible life forms found in the deepest abysses, shaped by the absolute darkness and the freezing cold of the shallowest waters.
Throughout the tour there are educational materials and exclusive documentaries on the link between these animals and the culture of many peoples living on the sea, such as the Maori, who have deified sharks to the extent of covering their bodies with amulets and tattoos representing them, as an offering in honour of the gods of the sea.
Opening hours: Thursday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
