The exhibition Presence will run until 29 April at the PhMuseum Lab.
The photographs on display have been selected through the PhMuseum 2021 Mobile Photography Prize, a prize dedicated to mobile photography that aims to analyse the effects of digitalisation on visual language.
In the same context, the book in the Sun on the moon… curated by American artist Jason Fulford, which brings together a further 65 images from the open call.
The concept of the book was born during the workshop What to do with 2500 images? that Fulford conducted for PhMuseum Days 2021.
The result, in Fulford’s own words, aims to be “a fictional narrative in three movements in which characters confront the reader, themselves and the mystery of the cosmos”.
The photographers in the exhibition are: Susanna Durante, Giacomo Infantino, An Le & Monet Tang, Maria Mavropoulou, Brendan Ó Sé, Tijana Pakic Feterman, Erika Pellicci, Prarthna Singh.
