The exhibition offers an exhibition dedicated to the enigmatic figure of the painter Sergio Vacchi.
The collective, from September 28th to November 25th, in the splendid setting of Palazzo Fava where over one hundred works will be exhibited.
Through a journey curated by Marco Menguzzo, the showcase made of portraits and self-portraits of well-known personalities of the time will recall the ability of painting to interpenetrate areas far from the art world and to portray first names in the foreground including Franz Kafka, Samuel Beckett and the neo-impressionist artist, Francis Bacon.
The great cycles of Vacchi will also encourage a dialogue between his multifaceted and sometimes tragic point of view and the natural simplicity of the Carracci. Stories, narratives and extraordinary encounters with characters from all eras, in a dark and mysterious atmosphere, the stylistic signature of this extraordinary artist who two years after his death, bologna decides to celebrate thanks to this review, which will include a reinterpretation in key international, through a journey from 1948 to 2008.
The ticket office closes one hour before the closing of the Palace.
