The Oriental Art Room of the Palazzo Poggi Museum houses two important collections dedicated to the art of the Far East, that of Japanese woodcuts of the Fondazione del Monte in Bologna and Ravenna and that of prints, paintings, books and objects of the Centro Studi d ‘ Far Eastern art.
Accompanied by prof. Giovanni Peternolli (CSAEO President), and by dr. Alessandro Guidi (CSAEO Director), it will be possible to know and appreciate the new selection of prints, paintings and objects on display until 13 October 2019.
Among the works on display, the large vertical scroll by the Japanese painter Kanô Tanshin Morimichi (1785-1835) depicting eight Taoist immortals, one of the most precious works in the Collection.
