Palazzo Davia Bargellini, one of the most significant examples of Bolognese Baroque architecture, has returned to its splendour thanks to a full restoration carried out by the Fondazione Opera Pia da Via Bargellini, which owns the entire building.
During the planning of the recent restoration work on the main floor of the palazzo, it emerged that the building’s use as a school had led to major changes in the layout of the rooms.
After numerous superstructures, the Salone overlooking Piazza Aldrovandi has come back to light.
