The Nuovo Forno del Pane Outdoor Edition promotes a series of encounters born from the shared planning of the artists in residence. Conceived as a self-education workshop open to the public, the programme focuses on the point of view of the artists as “indicators” of the most relevant and urgent contemporary issues.
Lectures, performances, guided tours, encounters with artists, DJ sets make up a rich calendar that runs from 9 to 26 June 2023 and is conceived by: Lorena Bucur (Cremona, 1996), in residence at the Pianura Ovest Cultural District, San Giovanni in Persiceto, Convento di San Francesco; Beatrice Favaretto (Venice,1992), in residence at the Reno Lavino Samoggia Cultural District, Casalecchio di Reno, Montagnola di Mezzo; Valentina Furian (Venice,1989), in residence at the Savena – Idice Cultural District, San Lazzaro di Savena, 10Lines and Kappa NÖUN; Giorgia Lolli (Reggio Emilia, 1996), in residence at Distretto culturale Pianura Est, Budrio, Le Torri dell’Acqua; Lorenzo Modica (Rome, 1988), in residence at Distretto culturale Appennino Bolognese, Castiglione dei Pepoli, Municipio di Castiglione dei Pepoli; Davide Sgambaro (Cittadella, Padua, 1989), in residence at Distretto culturale Imolese, Imola, Centro d’Arte Novella Guerra.
The appointments will be held in different spaces of MAMbo – Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna (conference room, foyer, library) and, in one case, at the Cassero LGBTI+ Center.
It begins on Friday 9 June with Valentina Furian introducing Morena Poltronieri and Ernesto Fazioli in the meeting STREGA DONNA DEA (MAMbo, conference room, 5.30 p.m.); followed, again on 9 June, by Hold me while I’m Naked: Lewis G. Burton in dialogue with Beatrice Favaretto and the Cassero LGBTI+ Center (Cassero, 8.30 p.m.). Following this, on Friday 16 June, Lorenzo Modica will dialogue with Francesco Targhetta (MAMbo, library, 5.30 pm), while on Wednesday 21 June it will be the turn of Giorgia Ohanesian Nardin’s lecture-performance introduced by Giorgia Lolli I want to shake you off me | maybe this is my dancing (MAMbo, foyer, 8.00 pm, reservation required). Last two appointments: Friday 23 June with Franco Bifo Berardi who will present his book Disertate!, introduced by Davide Sgambaro (MAMbo, conference room, 5.30 pm) and Monday 26 June with Adrian Paci, introduced by Lorena Bucur (MAMbo, conference room, 5.30 pm).
