On Friday 15 November Elisabetta Possati, Complesso del Baraccano, in via Santo Stefano 119, inaugurates the photographic exhibition by Federico Compatangelo in the museum room, as part of the UNESCO candidacy for arcades.

The images tell the charm of the arcades, symbol of our city, through 38 photographs printed on 60×90 size feathers.
The exhibition tells how it is Bologna, with its lights and shadows that highlight details and arouse emotions and memories of other times, for the characters that populated our city, such as the “Flower Fairy” who sang the color of her dress with that of the bouquets of flowers he sold, or the seller of the Mercato di Mezzo who for so many years occupied the same corner to become a point of reference, for those traits of the endless portico, where, as the French writer Jules wrote Janin in 1838, those who are its inhabitants dart like shadows instead of walking.
