The Lercaro Collection presents to the public the exhibition Dinamiche dell’Equilibrio (Dynamics of Balance) dedicated to four artists who characterised the Bolognese cultural scene in the second half of the 20th century: Giovanni Korompay, Antonio Mazzotti, Mario Nanni and Ivo Tartarini.
In the intention of curators Pasquale Fameli and Pierluca Nardoni, their works have been investigated with the intention of highlighting the close dialogue that exists within their artistic experience, an aspect that certainly constitutes a novelty with respect to the reading that critics had hitherto proposed of these authors. Their adherence to geometrism, therefore, is read within a mutual and reciprocal relationship in the desire to observe how between the four individual paths there exist correspondences and transmissions often dictated by mutual esteem and frequentation.
The exhibition will be on view from 10 May to 17 September 2023.
