The program will take place in different places in the city from December 27th to January 5th 2020.
Dancin’Bo is back, the program that features 500 dancers in 15 different places in the city, crossing arcades and squares, in a joyful invasion that also arrives in historical places of culture, such as the Palazzo dell’Archiginnasio, Biblioteca Salaborsa, the Municipal Theater, the Medieval Museum and the University, at the headquarters of the DAMSLab, Department of Arts.
A great party animated by more than 50 organizations including associations, dance schools and professional companies to celebrate the beauty and energy of dance in all its forms.
From hip hop to tango, from classic to filuzzi, from ethnic dances to musicals, from contemporary to lindy hop, from acrobatic rock to taranta, the party unfolds in an unusual dance steps itinerary that includes 50 appointments in streets, squares and local, from the center to the periphery.
Among the most awaited guests of this second edition we remember the étoile Luciana Savignano, who will perform in the Foyer of the Municipal Theater in the famous Death of the Swan, Iskra Menarini, Maristella Martella, the darlings of the television audience Kledi Kadiu and Simone Di Pasquale (who the December 27 will open the festival with a parade that will unfold between via Farini, via Rizzoli and Piazza Maggiore), the very young Fratelli Gargarelli (Tú sí que vales) and Davide Alphandery (winner of the 2019 Prodigi edition – Music is life).
Dance is also the heart of Lightin’Bo, the new video mapping project of Bologna Welcome, with the artistic direction of the Cineteca Foundation of Bologna and realized with the contribution of the Chamber of Commerce of Bologna that illuminates, thanks to the collaboration with the Superintendency , some of the most beautiful historic buildings in the city with images of the most famous dance sequences in the history of the twentieth century.
