On the occasion of the bicentenary of Napoleon’s death (May 5, 1821), the Civic Archaeological Museum of Bologna offers its visitors a guided tour to discover the complex relationship between the French presence on Italian soil and the Bolognese archaeological heritage.
Appointment Saturday 8 May by reservation.
The artistic, archaeological and book heritage of the city was in fact involved in the great requisition of works destined to enrich French cultural institutions and in particular the Louvre Museum.
