From 22 to 26 May 2019, the Bologna exhibition center will host the 28th edition of Autopromotec, the most specialized international exhibition of automotive equipment and aftermarket.
The 2019 edition of Autopromotec will consist of a total area of 162,000 m2 – 4,000 m2 more than in 2017 – with over 580 product categories covering all sub-sectors of the aftermarket market.
The Autopromotec 2019 layout will see the total renewal of pavilions 29 and 30, which will once again become the “home of diagnosis and equipment”, with the main companies in the sector already confirmed worldwide, underlining the strategic importance that Autopromotec covers for this market.
Pavilion 14, which in the last edition had hosted the diagnosis department, will be dedicated to lifting and equipment for workshop and tire service, thus completing an important product area completely focused on the sector (which includes pavilions 14, 15 , 19, 20 and 22), where tire and wheel manufacturers and retailers will be hosted; assistance equipment; new, retreaded tires and related accessories and services; lifting and workshop equipment. A space that has no equal in the world in terms of exhibition space and number of companies present.
A new image
A new image was also created for Autopromotec 2019, in line with the technological innovation that from the last editions strongly characterizes the event. The image represents the evolution that has accompanied the fair in recent years, projecting it into a future characterized by an increasingly connected world, achieved thanks to the union of several skyline of different cities, suspended on a futuristic galaxy. A new world immersed in constellations that clearly identify the sectors present at Autopromotec and that represent the future of the world of vehicle assistance. A not so distant future, everything still to be explored, in which visitors will be accompanied by a special guide who will be the protagonist of advertising campaigns, banners, videos, and much more.
Pre-accession
The pre-accessions by companies are still growing, confirming now the consolidated trend of the last editions, which allow the organizers to start outlining the layout of the various sectors and giving shape to what will be the exhibition space in 2019. Even before that official registrations open at the fair and a month earlier than the previous editions, the organizers will announce the number of pre-accessions this year at the beginning of April: to date, 642 companies are willing to participate, compared to 627 in the similar period in 2016.
Of these, 6.8% is represented by companies that for the first time intend to choose Autopromotec as a showcase for their offer. Always important, then, the foreign presence, represented by 139 companies, with leading realities coming from countries such as China and Germany, followed by the main European nations.
The analysis of these first data, although still preliminary, also provides an indication of the sectors that mostly attract exhibitors, which prove to be spare parts, workshop diagnosis, tires, as well as highlighting a pleasant recovery in the bodywork sector.
