Five places, five projections and five dance styles to see the city in another light.
Lightin’Bo is the event that illuminates the city with videomapping installations dedicated to dance scenes in twentieth-century cinema.
The first edition begins December 27, 2019 and ends January 1, 2020.
The selected buildings will be enhanced by projections not only with film sequences, but also through light shows that will open the projections and highlight the lines and architectural elements of these splendid facades. Overall, the project will create a new itinerary through the center, off the beaten track.
Here are the locations and the respective films:
1. Church of Santa Maria della Pioggia – Piazzetta della Pioggia: Children of the West (Way Out West, USA / 1937) by James W. Horne
2. Complex of Saint Ignatius (Pinacoteca di Bologna) – Piazza Vittorio Puntoni: La Dolce Vita (Italy-France / 1960) by Federico Fellini
