A cycle of visits to Casa Carducci led by the staff of the institute to provide the awareness of benefiting from a cultural asset that is completely original compared to the usually haunted museums.
The peculiarity consists in fact in the indissoluble link between ‘container’ – the house – and the ‘contents’ – the furnishings, the furniture, the ornamental furnishings, the paintings, the books, the autograph papers that make this historic dwelling unicum.
So we enter a “house-museum” and, since his guest was an important poet and writer, scouring his rooms, we realize that there is no object and relic that evokes moments of his private life and remembers salient episodes of ‘tireless cultural activity of this protagonist of the “long” nineteenth century.
The guided tour takes place on Saturday at 11 am with an hour duration. It is intended for no more than 15 people.
