While the cold prevails and the city is preparing to welcome the most contemporary week of the year with ART CITY Bologna (from 25 January to 3 February), the Archaeological Museum offers a diversion (or a pleasant addition) with a dip in the ancient: in fact, the rooms of the Egyptian collection, of prehistory and of the Etruscan city of Bologna are open, accessible with a reduced ticket for 3 euros.
To access the Etruscan, Greek, Gallic and Roman collections, however, you have to wait: only late spring will allow you to return to visit the entire first floor of the museum, where the works of reconstruction of the roof are underway.
