From October 26-29, Bologna will be the hub of the motoring universe. The 40th edition of Auto & Moto d’Epoca will be held for the first time in the exhibition spaces of BolognaFiere, in the heart of Motor Valley, a sacred place for motor enthusiasts and home to legends.
Mario Carlo Baccaglini, Ceo of Intermeeting, stresses the importance of this year for Auto & Moto d’Epoca, celebrating forty years of history, culture and passion in a new setting, with an exhibition area of 235,000 square meters, new sectors and many new features. The enthusiastic response from international industry players confirmed that the right location was chosen.
The event received a warm welcome from the City of Bologna, represented by the delegate for culture, Elena Di Gioia, who highlighted how this event strengthens the international dimension of the city, establishing it as the capital of the motor world thanks to Motor Valley. The president of the Emilia-Romagna Region, Stefano Bonaccini, also stressed the uniqueness of the region, the only one in the world named after a road, the Via Emilia. He praised Emilia-Romagna’s many world-renowned brands. Bologna and Emilia-Romagna, in addition to hosting world-renowned events such as Formula 1, Moto Gp and the Super Bike World Championship, are the beating heart of Motor Valley, with nearly 16,000 businesses employing nearly 100,000 people. Here, motors are not only history, but also the future.
BolognaFiere President Gianpiero Calzolari expressed satisfaction with the decision to host Auto & Moto d’Epoca, filling a space left vacant after the closure of the Motor Show, demonstrating once again the ability to innovate and adapt to the needs of the industry.
