The exhibition on show from 5 July at Fondazione MAST Animo, Cipputi! A tale of 50 years of work in Italy in the drawings of Altan, curated by Cosimo Torlo in collaboration with Altan and with the support of Solares Fondazione delle Arti, is extended until 30 September 2023 in MAST.Gallery 0.
Dedicated to the iconic character created by Altan, the exhibition traces the works of an artist who has been able to narrate with great acumen and irreverence Italy and its transformations in recent decades and is part of the initiatives for the 100th anniversary of G.D and the 10th anniversary of Fondazione MAST.
The exhibition also features the documentary “Mi chiamo Altan e faccio vignette” (My name is Altan and I make cartoons) by Stefano Consiglio, in which the Cipputi author recounts the birth and evolution of his character, and is accompanied by a catalogue published by LiberEtà on sale at MAST.Point.
