They were proclaimed for Monday, December 3, not one, but two strikes by staff of the public transport company Tper.
A 24-hour strike of railway sector personnel (train drivers and captains) was proclaimed.
For those using the train: on the lines of the competence network Bologna-Portomaggiore, Bologna-Vignola, Ferrara-Suzzara, Ferrara-Codigoro, Reggio Emilia-Guastalla, Reggio Emilia-Sassuolo, Reggio Emilia-Ciano d’Enza, Modena-Sassuolo and Parma-Suzzara will be guaranteed the essential services provided in the event of a strike from 6 to 9 and from 18 to 21.
Disruptions resulting from the strike of USB could also occur in relation to the possible suppression of Tper trains circulating on the regional service of the lines of the RFI network Ferrara-Ravenna-Rimini-Pesaro, Ferrara-Bologna-Imola-Rimini, Bologna-Parma-Milan, Bologna -Roggio Rusco, Bologna-Porretta Terme and Modena-Mantova.
As for buses and coaches within the Bologna service area instead: the SGB strike will take place from 8.30 to 16.30 and from 19.30 to end of service. During strike times, urban, suburban and suburban public transport services will not be guaranteed.
More precisely, for suburban, suburban and suburban vehicles of Bologna, only runs from the central terminus to the suburbs will be guaranteed, and vice versa, with departure time up to 8.15 (in the morning) until 7.15 pm (in the evening). For the urban lines of Imola will be guaranteed all the complete runs departing from the train station, or bus station, until 8.20 (in the morning) and until 19.20 (in the evening).
The strike initiative does not involve the traveling staff of the automotive sector in the province of Ferrara; nonetheless, possible, albeit limited, repercussions on urban and extra-urban line services of the Ferrarese basin in relation to shifts covered by Bologna staff affected by the strike are not excluded. Taxibus services will be carried out regularly.
Among the motivations of the strike, as regards the Usb union, we find: workloads, disciplinary system, residence of service to Roveri warehouse. For Sgb, the dispute concerns the number of rest periods, holidays and leave, the disciplinary system, the strike system, the method of enrollment in the pension fund, the lack of personnel and workloads.
