The winter edition of The creative World opens on 24 November at the Bologna Exhibition Centre. The event will continue until Sunday 27 November, 4 days of full immersion dedicated to creativity and women’s hobbies that for several years have brought thousands of enthusiasts from central/northern Italy to the city of Bologna.
As in previous editions, The Creative World will have within it – but with a different start on Friday 25 November – Craft Your Party, the largest market of unique creations made by hand with the heart. A pavilion full of ideas for Christmas gifts, original, creative and above all handmade.
There will be more than 250 exhibitors in both fairs (The Creative World in Hall 25 and Craft Your Party in Hall 26) for a total of more than 15,000 square metres of creative proposals: a journey through the many possibilities that creativity offers, a path through which curiosity can become passion, passion can turn into a hobby, and a hobby can grow and professionalise until it becomes a job.
The fair aims to be one of the most important events in Italy dedicated to fantasy and manual creativity; an up-to-date showcase of the latest fashions and trends, from the most traditional to the most innovative in the field of manual arts and hobbies.
The Creative World is an opportunity to meet manufacturers and retailers in the field of hobbies, manual arts and creativity; it enables visitors to choose from the variety of products on offer (felt, fabrics, beads, colours, paper, wool, lace, stamps, etc.) and to evolve their techniques in the field of handicrafts and creativity. .) and to evolve the techniques of the creative world (decoupage, scrapbooking, bijoux, cross stitch, patchwork and quilting, ceramics, creative sewing, shabby, embroidery, cake design, stencils, cardboard, artistic work, country painting, stamping) and much more.

CRAFT THEATRE
Creativity, entertainment and sharing will be on stage at Teatro Craft. With no commitment you can learn techniques, hear tips, get inspired and have fun making something simple to take home!
FOOD THEATRE
A theatre dedicated to show cooking where you can meet your favourite foodbloggers, collect new recipes and treat yourself to a mouth-watering treat!
Traditional desserts, decoration ideas, pastry techniques within everyone’s reach, the secrets of the Sac a Poche but also savoury recipes not to be missed.
This year’s theatre will also feature the winner of the “Bring your recipe to the fair!” contest, who will reveal her favourite recipe and show us how to prepare her special Torta Caprese.
Also in this edition, the godmothers of Teatro Food will be Miriam Bonizzi and Marzia Tortorelli, who will accompany guests in their culinary performances!
WANT TO GET YOUR HANDS IN THE DOUGH?
Lots of Food decoration courses on the programme!
This edition will be enriched with a new feature: decoration courses dedicated to adults and children in Hall 3, Pav. 26.
WORKSHOPS
For those who want to learn new techniques, get to know trendy materials and get their fill of inspiration and ideas? Experienced crafters will be on hand to share their tricks.
CREATIVE CHILDREN
Every year the fair fills up with creative little ones, and a large play area will be dedicated to them in cooperation with Energia Ludica.
VALINA AND MISS CREATIVITY
During the days of the fair, they will be able to create a ‘little notebook’ together using the kit provided to stimulate creativity and create a pocket notebook (3.5 x 5 cm).
ANABELLA VERONESI: CREATIVITY WITH HEART
Anabella’s space this year is a dream come true! A place to meet, to create together thanks to sponsors MT and CRICUT, to take a photo and have a chat, to fill one’s eyes with beauty.
SHEEP – WE WEAVE STORIES, BRING WARMTH
Solidarity Creativity. Sheep Italia is a non-profit association created by Saverio Tommasi, its founder. Their mission is to help those most in need by bringing warmth to those living on the streets. Here at the fair we will make their commitment our own and all together we will create blankets!
For those who would like to create a square of wool to form a warm blanket to give to homeless people, at the Sheep stand you can grab your needles, choose your ball of wool and start knitting!
EMBROIDERY AND LACE-MAKING AREA
A calendar full of events for all embroidery lovers!
At the fair you will find artists, schools and teachers holding many courses, from crochet to knitting!
More than 20 embroidery schools will be present at the fair over the four days. They will hold demonstrations and introduce visitors to this centuries-old technique, which may be somewhat disused today but is fascinating and deeply rooted in our traditions. Embroidery professionals will be exhibiting their handicrafts for the occasion.
In addition to these initiatives in Hall 25 there will be many courses and demonstrations organised by the exhibitors themselves. Hundreds of moments to perfect and approach manual creative techniques: you can learn scrapbooking, creative sewing, costume jewellery making, macramé and crochet, decoupage, Christmas decorations and much more to satisfy every curiosity and “creative appetite”.

Thursday 25 November, single ticket € 7 with the opening of Il Mondo Creativo.
For the other days, you can download the reduced ticket from the website at € 9 instead of € 12 and visit all the fairs.
Agreement with Conad: from 11 to 27 November, Carta Insieme holders who go to Conad stores in Bologna and its province, Modena and its province, and Ferrara and its province will receive a receipt that they will have to present at Il Mondo Creativo checkouts to pay € 7 instead of € 12.
