On Tuesday 18 June, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Giorgio Morandi’s death, Casa Morandi and Palazzo Bentivoglio are organising guided tours to celebrate the artist.
Art historian Tommaso Pasquali will lead a visit to the exhibition “Luigi Ghirri. Atelier Morandi” at 7.00 pm, with free access, and two visits to Casa Morandi at 5.30 and 6.00 pm.
The exhibition, set up by Davide Trabucco, recreates the environment of Morandi’s studio and will be open exceptionally from 2pm to 8pm with free admission. It presents photographs taken between 1989 and 1990 by Luigi Ghirri in Morandi’s studio, enriched by unpublished prints and a video with testimonies.
