American Airlines and Guglielmo Marconi Airport of Bologna announce the new flight which, starting from 6 June 2019, will link the city of Bologna with the United States.
The introduction of the new direct flight from Bologna to Philadelphia, one of the major hubs of American Airlines, is part of the plan to expand the American network for the upcoming summer season, designed to meet the passengers' request, which includes the introduction of three new destinations in Italy, Germany and Croatia.
The new seasonal flights will be available from June to September and will be operated by Boeing 767-300 aircraft, offering in Business Class fully reclining seats, Amenity Kit signed by Cole Hann and menus developed by internationally acclaimed Chefs.
Philadelphia, located about 150 km southwest of New York, is the sixth most populous city and one of the oldest in the United States. As the main hub of American Airlines for the East Coast, it can be an excellent stopover to reach a multiplicity of destinations in the USA.
And on the day when the news of the passenger boom for the direct Philadelphia-Bologna takes off, in both directions: the first flight of 6 June from Bologna is already full, booked from 7 and yesterday the minimum ticket for the Main Cabin is just over 2,000 euros (of course, by booking in advance prices will fall).
It is already the ticket, nine and a half hours non-stop, departure 12.10 from Bologna, arrival 15.40 local time in Philadelphia.
